Steer Physiotherapy is an accredited GLA:D provider. ‘Good Life with osteoArthritis: Denmark (GLA:D)’ is a combined exercise and education program developed by researchers in Denmark for first-line management of hip and knee osteoarthritis symptoms.
GLA:D consists of:
- An initial physiotherapy consultation.

- Weekly group exercise sessions (2x per week for 6 weeks).
- A 3 month follow up physiotherapy consultation to discuss and progress treatment goals.
- A 3 and 12 month follow up questionnaire.
Eligible participants may be able to use Medicare or private health funding to cover some costs of the assessments and exercise sessions. Education sessions are provided as part of enrollment in the program.
We are looking at running the program early to mid 2023. Please contact the clinic to express your interest, or to learn more about the program.
