If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, you may be eligible for compensation for physiotherapy treatment through Compulsory Third Party insurance. Before you can receive treatment, an assessment from a General Practitioner and approval from your insurance company will be required.
Prior to attending your appointment at Steer, we will require some additional information in relation to your claim which includes:
- Claim number
- Date of accident/injury
- Insurance details, including case manager’s name and contact details
- Referral from a General Practitioner
After your initial consultation at Steer Physiotherapy, we will liaise with your General Practitioner to provide them with the results of our assessment, a prognosis on your recovery, and any recommendations regarding workplace adjustments or time needed off work post injury. These details will also be provided to your insurance case manager. We will continue to liaise with your medical team and case manager throughout the duration of your treatment with us.
